The Polytechnic University of the Philippines is accepting online application for its College Entrance Test (PUPCET) for the First Semester, Academic Year 2017-2018.

Who are qualified to take the PUP College Entrance Test (PUPCET)?

Qualified to apply are:

Graduates of the K-12 piloting or those who graduated from K-12 pilot schools who have not enrolled in any technical/diploma/degree program immediately after graduation, with GWA of 82% or higher
A Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) passer, eligible for admission to college with an average rating of 82 or higher in its 5 subject areas: Mathematics, Communication Arts (English), Science, Communication Arts (Filipino), and Araling Panlipunan

An Alternative Learning System Accreditation & Equivalency (ALS A & E) Test for Secondary Level passer, eligible for admission to college and has 100 or higher Standard Score (SS) with Essay Writing of 2 or higher

Who are qualified to take the PUP College Entrance Test (PUPCET)?

Where to apply?
All PUPCET applicants must apply online (using PUP iApply).  An applicant is allowed to apply and take the PUPCET in only one (1) campus and only once this academic year. PUPCET fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable. Multiple application will make the applicant’s PUPCET result null and void.
When to Claim ePermit?

Requirements for Admission
Please prepare the following documents prior to your admission to PUP:
·         If payment was made thru any LANDBANK Branch nationwide:
·         Applicant's copy of the PUPCET 2016 payment voucher (downloadable from PUP iApply after successful online application)
·         Validated payment slip of Five Hundred Pesos (Php 500.00) from the LANDBANK branch
·         If payment was made via LANDBANK ePayment / Electronic Payment System:
·         PUP Online Payment transaction voucher (downloadable after successful online application and payment using LBP ePayment / Electronic Payment System)
·         Online Confirmation Receipt from LBP ePayment / Electronic Payment System
·         Original or certified true copy, if lost, of F138 with school dry seal (for high school graduates who have not enrolled in any technical/diploma/degree program immediately after high school graduation)
·         Duly authenticated copy of the PEPT/ALS A&E Test Certificate of Rating, certified by the DepEd-NETRC-BALS
·         School ID (for currently enrolled students) or any valid ID with picture (for previous HS graduates)

Naghuhumiyaw, nag-uumapaw ang galit ng sambayanan 
Sukdulan na ang kasamaan, bangkay nagkalat sa daan 
Tatlo-singko na lang ang buhay ng pinagdudahan at pinagkamalan 
Ito na ba ang pagbabago, pagbabagong inaasam? 

Tahimik na nga at pwede nang magpagabi sa daan 
Hindi na katatakutan ang magnanakaw, reypist at kriminal 
Nauubos na rin ang mga korap sa pahamalaan 
Ito na nga ba ang Pagbabago, Pagbabagong inaasam? 

Humiwalay na sa Amerikano ng Kapitalista’t Imperyalista
 Bumaling naman sa Intsik at Rusong tuso’t mapagsamantala
 Mapagyayaman at mapagbabago ang bayang sinisinta?
Unti-unting kinukubkob karagatan nati’t mga isla

Hangga’t wika’y di-malaya, pagbabago’y hindi mapapala
 Ngayo’y sinisikil, sa pagtuturo’y binubusalan pa 
Tinanggal sa kolehiyo, pinagbabantaan pa sa Kongreso 
Lulusawin ito, upang maging mamamayan ng mundo 

Filipino nga raw ang wika, wika ng pagbabago? 
Gaano katotoo, pinahahalagahan ba ito? 
Kayrami nang dinanas na dusa at pasakit 
Kayhaba ng landas na puno ng tinik 

Malaya naman noon ang bansa, kahit dayalekto’y iba-iba 
Kahit pulo-pulo, tribo-tribo ay lubos na nakauunawa 
Nakakapagkalakalan pa sa mga dayuhan, maunlad at sagana 
Dahil nabubuhay sa wikang likas na kaloob ng May-akda 

Dumating ang mga Kastilang sabik na sabik sa saganang yaman ng bansa
Hayok na hayok na ginahasa’t kinamkam at walang itinira 
Maging wikang angkin, pilit na tinanggal sa dila ng madla 
Pinaglaway sa wikang kastilang wika lamang ng maharlika

Lumao’t magaling sa kastila’y nakalaya na rin 
Ngunit pumalit mga Amerikanong bagong mang-aalipin
Kunwa’y  magiliw at mabait, wikang Ingles ipinilit na gamitin
Upang pagkatao’t pagkalahi nati’y tuluyang angkinin

Kasarinla’y ibinigay, pambansang wika’y sinilang
Sa lahat ng wika’y nagtagumpay ang Tagalog na ngalan 
Pinalitan ng Pilipino dahil sa pag-aalitan 
Hanggang maging Filipino ang Wika sa Kasalukuyan 

Lumaya na ang bansa, ngunit naiwan ang wika 
Lumaya sa mga dayuhan ngunit alipin sa kaisipan 
Isiniksik idinikdik sa kaluluwa ng bayan 
Na natatanging magaling ay yaong sa mga dayuhan 

Kung uunahin lamang pagmamahal sa wikang Filipino 
Napagbabago nito maging kaluluwa ng tao
Ito’y manunuot sa isip, puso, diwa at pagkatao
 Hanggang sa makamit pagbabago ng lipunang Pilipino 

Nagawa ng mga Hapon, Koreano, Intsik at Ruso 
Sariling wika’y minahal, tinaguyod sa lahat ng aspekto 
Rumagasa sa pag-unlad tuluyang umasenso
Pambansang wika’y sangkap sa kanilang pagbabago

Hindi pa huli para sa hangad na Pagbabago 
Palakasin, patatagin, gamitin ang wika ng bayan mo 
Hinahangad na pagbabago ay ating matatamo 
Sapagkat ang Filipino, Wikang Mapagbago
